We are a small charity that does big things. We are incredibly careful with our spending to ensure that it goes directly towards improving patient outcomes. Because of these factors, we can benefit greatly from volunteers who want to donate their time and skills.

We have a number of opportunities available below. Volunteering with us is flexible to suit the amount of time that you can give. If you have skills that are not listed below, we are always keen to hear about how you might be able to help

Current Opportunities

  • Regional Event Manager

    To coordinate a charity carol concert in your local area - allowing us to open up events to supporters across the country. We will provide full step-by-step support to help you pull off a great event.

  • Merchandise Designers

    To support the charity’s fundraising efforts by helping to produce fresh designs for greetings cards and merchandise. These products help to bring our brand to life across our events and fundraising activities.

  • Admin and Researchers

    To help with ad-hoc desk-based projects to support our marketing, fundraising, PR and brand team. These will be across a wide spectrum of areas and will require a good level of PC and internet literacy.

  • Grant Bid Writer

    To identify funding and grants that we may apply for. This role will involve working directly with the CEO to write and submit applications for funding.

  • Local Champions

    To organise smaller scale fundraising events such as car boot sales, sponsored walks, cake bakes and charity sales. These events are lots of fun and not only raise funds and awareness for us, but they can also bring communities together.

  • Awards Expert

    To assist in the research, identification and entry of relevant award schemes. This role will involve working directly with the team at the charity’s PR partner Mandate Creative.
